Urban Digital Twin TeamM.Eng. Systems Engineering (Distance Learning)
Cornell University
Josh Menezes spent the past five years at Cummins Inc., first as a Product Engineer and then as a Systems Validation Leader, where his work spanned designing new engine components, developing and executing validation strategy for his team, and leading major production and warranty projects. That experience gave him a strong foundation in both technical problem-solving and cross-functional leadership.
Now early in his research journey with the Urban Digital Twin team, Josh is particularly interested in the practical applications of AI and how they can be used to address real societal challenges. He's looking forward to bringing the validation and systems-engineering skillset he built through school and industry into this new domain.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing chess, sports like volleyball and pickleball, and spending time with friends and family.
“I want to take what I know about engineering complex systems and use it to help make cities work better for the people who depend on them every day.”
